Planned Maintenance and Inspections

Planned Maintenance on Roller Shutter Doors, Sectional Doors, Rapid Roll Doors, Security and Fire Doors is an important service to have in place, to ensure your doors continue to work safely and reliably.

When a breakdown occurs, it is always inconvenient and disruptive to a busy environment, or at the very least compromises security of the building.

Current legislation places a duty of care on building owners and occupiers to ensure that doors and ancillary equipment on their buildings are periodically maintained by a competent organisation or person and records kept. We can take on your responsibilities in this area by carrying out planned maintenance on your doors and shutters.

Most manufacturers will insist on a minimum period of 12 months between scheduled maintenance tasks, although we have customers who require more frequent service visits due to the intensity of use of their doors or the environment they are in.

We can carry out a full inspection and service, which includes minor repairs or adjustments. A detailed report will be completed for each door and submitted. 

Alternately, we can carry out an inspection only and complete a detailed report to submit which will outline all aspects of your door which require attention, or simply reassure you that your asset is in good safe working order. 

If you would like us to prepare a quotation to carry out Maintenance or Inspections, a good place to start is by sending us photos of the doors which you would like included on a service agreement. We can assess the works reasonably well from photographs - whilst some doors are small and simple, others can be quite large and have complex systems in place.
